I chose this TV as its one of the few smart TV`s that still has a DVD player, streaming services are great but you cant always get a good connection so DVD`s are a good fallback. The smart TV side works great, easy to set up and has a great picture. The DVD side unfortunately is very average, its like it was an after thought and they`ve gone with the cheapest, nastiest player they could find. The picture is grainy, the player is clunky and the DVD has a separate remote that only covers some of the functions so you need to use both remotes to use the DVD player. The DVD has jammed several times and needs an occasional tap on the back to eject the DVD. Caravans Plus were great when I spoke to them and they offered to sort out a warranty claim for it jamming up, at this stage I haven`t worried about it as it seems to have stopped jamming up for the moment and a warranty claim wont solve the poor picture & sound quality from the DVD player. I`d recommend the version that just has the smart TV, but avoid this TV if you also want to use DVD`s.
